  For a few nights I was afraid. The first night red eyes were glowing in the darkness. Then the following day I heard dark voices, "HA HA HA!!" and squeaking noises. Then I saw the ghosts; one had one eye hanging out! I started screaming and told my parents what happened. My parents did not believe me. Therefore, one night, I called the ghosts to ask for their friendship . . .

Around 12 o'clock midnight, the boy woke up and hastily dressed. Suddenly, he heard something rumbling down the stairs. He looked at his clock. "Oh, no, I am late!" said the boy. In the door stood a ghost monster with an ax in his hand and he laughed devilishly at the boy...

The boy cried in a frightened voice, "Help, he wants to cut off my head!" At that moment, a white ghost floated by and said in a friendly tone, "I am sorry, but he clock in the attic is not working correctly. The ghost with the ax is our leader. 1. You must wash our white laundry. (That was easy!)
2. You must sweep the attic. (The boy was sweating heavily after he finished his work)
3. You must spend one night alone in the dark attic.

That night something exciting happened . . . . .

The boy walked slowly up the creaky mysterious stairs. He finally reached the dark, majestic attic door. His hands were clenched in great fear and he had the most solemn look on his worried face. He reached for the squeaky, rusty doorknob as he sealed his eyes shut like glue and paper. KABOOM! The door slammed open as loud as a firecracker! The boy was very nervous about spending the night in the attic. When he finally stepped inside, he was trembling so bad he could not hold the flashlight steady. The boy started to look for a place to sleep. The attic was nothing but a giant MAZE!
He finally came to a clear opening where he spied a large box. An owl swooped through the air. How did that get in here he wondered. He walked toward the box, just as the ghost swooped in front of him. This is getting creepy he thought to himself. He ran to the box and threw openthe lid. Bats, bats, and more bats came flying out...

He closed his eyes automatically. He open them fearfully. Then he couldsee better than before. Behind the attic, the leader monster signed with the hand for him to come closer. There was a large box. The boylooked with trembling hands into the box. In there were two moreboxes. A bed for the night was situated in one of the two boxes. Theboy decided to open the black box. A small spirit waved his hand towardhim. The boy threw himself into the box, as if he was drawn into it. He speeded through a dark tunnel and fainted. The boy then woke up with the bright morning sun. The attic looked bright and clean. When he opened a small window, he saw the white laundry hanging in the yard. A boy from the neighborhood said to him loudly: "Good morning. Could you make friendship with the spirits?" The two boys .....

. . . understand each other fast. Shortly before midnight they went to the attic to watch the ghosts.
The ghosts prepared a ghost party. The ghost boss was eating a very delicious blood soup. Other ghosts were drinking green frog mucous. At midnight the ghosts began to dance. Hui - hui!! Both boys were not afraid. They went brave to the boss, who finished his blood soup and was astound to see two boys. Hello, said the boy. I brought a friend. We would like to celebrate with you. The music stopped. It was very, very quiet in the attic. Now the two boys got really nervous. It was a scary moment. "Why not!", shouted the ghost boss:

It was a great party, but only to 1:00 a.m. At 1:00 a.m. the hounted hour was finally over. Both boys went quietly home. They had a lot of fun. From now on they visit the ghosts often,

but only if they don't had school the next morning.

B ... B ... Ba ...back! But where can I go??
