  The Treasure

Florian is a boy of nine, and he is dreaming of a real adventure. Therefore,
next to his bed, there is an adventurer's rucksack ready packed with food,
pocket-knife, screw-driver, notepad and pen, wire and string, chalk and
compass.

 

 
One night he heard a voice whispering: "Flo, wake up, you have to come with
me!" It was Brummi, his teddy-bear, with the
deep bear's voice.
Florian was flabbergasted. "I didn't know that you could talk!" he said
surprised.
"Don't talk so much! You have to come with me. I've discovered a treasure
map. You have to find the treasure!"
Florian was so tired that he didn't really hear the last words but fell
asleep again.

 The following morning Florian sat in his bed and wiped his eyes.

Had he dreamt that Brummi had said something about a treasure or was it real?
This morning Florian went to see his friend Kati. They wanted to walk
Schnuffi, Kati's dog. Florian took his adventurer's rucksack with him, just
in case.
Kati took Schnuffi'slead and they went to the forest. Suddenly Schnuffi
smelled something. He broke loose and ran to a tree. Flo and Kati followed him.
When they had reached him they saw a treasure map under one of the trees. . .
