,the Snuffi, and Kati, (wearing scuba diving gear), swim around the old shipwreck...looking carefully for any clues. A giant squid with her babies, peek at them.

Finally they see a big brown box and open it. It is empty except for a blue jewel. Kati grabs it and shoves it into her pocket. They swim to the top of the water.

At the surface, through the thick fog, they see in the distance, a shrimp boat.

After a long swim, they climb aboard.

They offer to give the captain the jewel, if he will take them to a nearby oil rig. They know there will be food and a place to rest on the rig.
He agrees and soon they are welcomed abroad the rig. The men feed them, and listen to the story about the treasure map.

After a good night's sleep, they are whisked back to the mainland in a giant helicopter when the rig crew has a change over. They hope to meet Kati's uncle there.

 Unfortunately, Florian drops Brummi into the water as they board the helicopter.

Luckily, the ocean current seems to carry Brummi..with it, all the way across the Gulf of Mexico to Louisiana's shore and the mouth of the
Mississippi River. They are able to keep Brummi in view, as the helicopter flies low over the water.

As they bid the helicopter pilot and rig workers a hasty goodbye, they realize that now Brummi has gotten hooked to the stern of a tug boat.
heading up the Mississippi River. Whatever will they do?

Running and hollering, they run along the river's edge. They try to get the tug captain to stop so they can rescue Brummi . . .
