As the two children hailed the boat
, Schnuffi gave
a loud bark and dived in
the water. Paddling vigorously, he caught up with the tug, snatched
Brummi in
his jaws and brought him to the bank.
Kati screamed,
"Good work, Schnuffi!"
Flo
took a biscuit from his bag and offered it to the dog.
"Now what can we do?" they pondered.
|
They all opened the pouch that was on Brummi's leg. Inside, there were
four
tickets, which said on them, "Fly anywhere free".
Behind them they heard a voice.
|

"Oh great, there you are, you're
safe."
"Uncle!" cried out Flo. "We were worried about you. How did you get
here?" he questioned.
"Never mind for now. I'll tell you later. What's that in
your hand?"
The children explained about the tickets.
Their uncle was thunderstruck.
"Let's go to New-Orleans International Airport. We should
be able to get to . . .
Hallo, hallo! Pictures will
arrive by 14.2., we hoped!
